early learning center
Since 1984, the LNAA’s Early Learning Center (ELC) program has been providing a solid foundation of skills necessary for a continued successful scholastic career. It is the building of academics, spiritual and character development, building their confidence and their own individual abilities.
The Pre-Kindergarten (4 & 5-year-old) and pre-pre (2 ½ & 3-year-old) programs focus the developmental and learning style of the emergent learner in a warm, healthy, safe, and Christ-centered environment. Even the design and layout of the classroom activities and learning centers help students develop physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually and nurture their natural curiosity and desire to learn.
The ELC students participate in Language Arts, Math, Science, Creative Art, Dramatic Play, Music, Physical Education, Nature, Technology, Bible, and Worship, through hands-on, independent, and group activities. Classroom instruction meets and exceeds State and NAD standards.
A Lifelong Love of Learning
Starts Here
Our essential commitment to Christian values is deeply rooted in our mission to provide a nurturing environment for children ages 2 ½- 5 years old. At the Lake Nelson Early Learning Center, we strive to create a fun and nurturing environment that contributes to the healthy growth and development of the whole child; socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and cognitively. We support a community of students, staff, and parents who love God and reflect His character by serving with passion and excellence.
Our teachers are caring and committed to helping your child develop foundational skills. We provide a child-centered program, where every child is respected for his or her unique personality, abilities and educational needs to help ensure that each child receives hands-on, one-on-one attention. It is our goal to instill a love of learning that the children will carry with them throughout their lives.
